New 2022 Louisiana Legal Ethics Book

Thousands of complaints are filed against Louisiana lawyers each year. Many are caused by simple mistakes and innocent misunderstandings about what the rules of conduct require. If you are like most lawyers, questions such as these are troubling:

  • Old files. When may I shred them?
  • I want to leave my firm. What are the ethical considerations?
  • What terms do I need to make the arbitration clause in my engagement agreement enforceable?
  • What 10 things should I do to avoid getting an envelope with the return address: “Office of Disciplinary Counsel”?

For straightforward answers to these and other real-life questions, get Louisiana Legal Ethics: Standards & Commentary (2022), an easy and comprehensive reference to Louisiana legal ethics rules, cases, and indispensable practical advice. Updated for 2022 with more than 50 new cases.
