Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board
PERILLOUX, ELZEY, 20-DB-061, 06/30/26. The Board recommended that the court permanently disbar the respondent. While serving as a judge of the 40th Judicial District Court, the respondent sexually touched three juvenile victims without their consent, and a jury convicted him of three felony counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile and one misdemeanor count of sexual battery. In so doing, the respondent violated Rules 8.4(a) and 8.4(b).

AUCOIN, SAMUEL, 25-DB-032, 06/15/26. Hearing Committee #29 recommended that the court disbar the respondent. While serving a three-year suspension from the practice of law, the respondent, working as a Walmart employee, repeatedly stole food and beverage merchandise from the store over the course of more than a year, and a court convicted him of theft. In so doing, the respondent violated Rules 8.4(a) and 8.4(b).
