August 2020 Discipline

These lawyers were the subject of Louisiana Supreme Court disciplinary orders or Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board recommendations published during the month of July 2020.

Louisiana Supreme Court

  1. John James Radziewicz. The court suspended the respondent for one year and one day. The court accepted a petition for consent discipline submitted by the respondent and the Office of Disciplinary Counsel after the respondent was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
  2. Samuel Robert Aucoin. The court suspended the respondent on an interim basis in response to a Petition for Interim Suspension for Threat of Harm filed by the Office of Disciplinary Counsel.

Louisiana Attorney Disciplinary Board

  1. Margot A. Tillman-Fleet. The board recommended that the court disbar the respondent. The respondent was arrested for the crimes of Theft, Public Payroll Fraud and Filing False Public Records. In so doing, the respondent violated Rules 8.4(a), 8.4(b), and 8.4(c).

LADB Hearing Committee

  1. Derrick K. Williams. Hearing Committee #18 recommended that the court suspend the respondent for one year and one day and provide restitution to any clients or third parties that were harmed. The respondent mishandled his client trust account and practiced law while ineligible to do so. In so doing, the respondent violated Rules 1.15(a), 5.5(a), and 8.1(c).
  2. Dounnisei Kuo Bblazeh. Hearing Committee #11 recommended that the court disbar the respondent. The respondent practiced law while ineligible to do so, violated another suspension imposed on her by the court, and converted client fees. In so doing, the respondent violated Rules 1.15, 5.5, and 8.1(c)
